Dealing with the loss of someone significant in our lives, someone who mattered to us, someone we loved, can be overwhelming. It can be especially challenging if we’re also making arrangements for their funeral. Whether you’re writing a eulogy on your own or you’re seeking help in shaping the story of a life that has now ended, thinking about the person we have lost and why we will miss them can be an important part of the grieving process. There will likely be pain and sorrow, and hopefully also the warmth of memories that have remained with us, and become a part of who we are.
Being asked to write a eulogy is a great honor and a privilege. I craft each story as though the individual who took their last breath was someone I knew personally. Even if you decide not to use my services, I hope you will find resources here that provide some comfort and ease as you navigate this unavoidable part of life itself.
I wish you well.
